This photo shoot was inspired by Karman Verdi's use of storytelling techniques.
The concept behind this series is that I wanted to capture the feeling of missing someone you loved...
"It's like you never left." I deliberately used props like - Butterflies to metaphorically represent the existence of someone in a spiritual life. - Leading to the theme of complexity.
In this photoshoot, I used two main sources of lighting. One behind the subject ( which is the light from the projector ) is to illuminate and outline the model's body as well as a tiny filled light that illuminates my model's face. Furthermore, I created some fog using the smoke machine, this is to accentuate the atmosphere, making it more dreamy.
