Ghost of You

"I'll settle for the ghost of you,
I miss you more than life..."

This photoshoot was inspired by Oswaldo Cepeda's use of studio lighting techniques.
The concept behind this series is that I wanted to communicate the complexities of missing someone's existence; how it felt to be alone & isolated from one's comfort zone.

I only use one source of lighting for this shoot, illuminating my subject at a top-down angle.
I've created a few different graphics of a human hand - this is to mimic and create the feeling of missing someone's touch. Furthermore, I deliberately altered the white balance in the camera setting, this is to achieve cold/blue shadows in my image.
